Job summary

Membership Bespoke is supporting an interim governance role for a professional membership organisation in the Leicester area. The assignment is for 6 months with hybrid work (two days per week in the office) and an hourly rate of £17–£25.

The role requires hands-on governance experience within a member-led environment and strong minute-taking skills. The interim professional will coordinate committees, support assurance and risk oversight, and build relationships across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience within a membership body or complex charity environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly around committee coordination and minuting.
• Hands-on, fast-moving governance function.
• Able to step into an interim role and quickly establish credibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on governance support within a complex, member-led environment.
