Job summary

Pratap Partnership is recruiting an Interim Global Head of Accounting to oversee global accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance during a period of significant organisational change. The role involves leading dispersed international teams, delivering audits across multiple jurisdictions including Dutch GAAP, and driving finance transformation, controls, and governance.

Travel to Yorkshire/Lincolnshire and hybrid working are expected, with availability at short notice

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
• Significant experience leading international accounting and financial control functions.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, proficient in IFRS.
• Proven track record delivering group audits and complex statutory reporting.
• Able to lead established teams while remaining hands-on to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global accounting operations, including Group Financial Control and regional finance teams.
• Take responsibility for Group reporting, statutory compliance and year-end audit processes.
• Ensure integrity of financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions, including Dutch GAAP.
• Lead ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including overseas shared service transitions.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide hands-on leadership, supporting senior stakeholders through organisational change.
• Manage and develop geographically dispersed teams across time zones.
