Job summary

Global Accounting Network is partnering with an ambitious early-stage technology startup to appoint an Interim Fractional CFO who will lead the next phase of growth from London. The role requires hands-on financial leadership to support fundraising, financial modelling and international expansion.

You will work closely with founders to prepare for investment, establish scalable financial systems and provide strategic guidance across UK, US and Latin American markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO within early-stage startups and high-growth tech.
• Strong track record in venture fundraising across pre-seed to Series A.
• Excellent financial modelling capabilities for investor-ready models.
• Experience advising on international operations and cross-border structures.
• Experience in AI, SaaS or technology-led businesses is advantageous.
• Experience across UK, US and Latin American markets is beneficial.
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial partner to founders.

Global Accounting Network is working with an exciting, early-stage technology start-up developing an innovative AI agent platform, as they look to appoint an experienced Interim Fractional CFO to support their next phase of growth.

Having reached the pre-seed stage, the business is preparing for a significant fundraising round to support its next phase of development and international expansion.

They are looking for a commercially minded, hands-on finance leader who has experience supporting early-stage technology businesses through fundraising, financial modelling and international expansion.

Working closely with the founders, you will play a key role in preparing the business for investment and establishing the financial foundations to support its international growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and advising the founders throughout the fundraising process.
• Building, refining and presenting robust financial models to support investor discussions.
• Developing detailed unit economics, revenue forecasts, cash flow projections and margin analysis.
• Providing strategic financial guidance around business growth, investment readiness and scaling operations.
• Advising on international operating structures across the UK, US and Latin America.
• Providing expertise around cross-border taxation and OECD transfer pricing considerations.
• Helping establish the financial infrastructure and reporting processes required as the business scales.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a CFO or Fractional CFO within early-stage start-ups and high-growth technology businesses.
• A strong track record supporting venture fundraising, ideally across pre-seed, seed or Series A rounds.
• Excellent financial modelling capabilities, with the ability to build and articulate sophisticated investor-ready models.
• Experience advising on international operations, cross-border structures and OECD transfer pricing.
• Exposure to AI, SaaS or technology-led businesses would be highly advantageous.
• Experience operating across the UK, US and Latin American markets would be particularly beneficial.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment and partnering directly with founders.
