Job summary

NXTGEN is recruiting an experienced Interim FP&A Manager for a confidential assignment in Cambridgeshire. You will lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting, provide actionable financial insights, and partner with senior stakeholders to support decision-making during a key period for the finance team.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong FP&A, commercial finance and senior business-partnering experience, plus advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong FP&A, commercial finance and senior business‑partnering experience.
• Comfortable working with complex financial and operational information and presenting clear recommendations.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes.
• Produce performance analysis and variance commentary.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
• Develop financial models and scenario analysis.
• Prepare management information and senior-level presentations.
• Identify financial risks, opportunities and improvement areas.
• Support ad hoc commercial analysis and strategic projects.
• Lead and develop a small FP&A team.
• Improve reporting, planning and business partnering processes.
