Interim FP&A Analyst | Fast-Growth Fintech Scale-Up

Harmonic is working exclusively with a leading UK Fintech company seeking an Interim FP&A Analyst for a 3-6 month contract. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders during a pivotal growth phase after a recent acquisition.

The Business:

This innovative Fintech & Insurtech firm, headquartered in Central London, specializes in digital finance solutions. It fosters a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture suitable for high-growth environments.

The Role:

Reporting to the VP of Finance, responsibilities include enhancing financial planning processes, improving forecast accuracy, delivering commercial insights, contributing to board reporting, and supporting capital deployment post-fundraise.

Duties:

1. Collaborate with Commercial, Product, and Operations teams to align financial objectives
2. Lead budgeting and forecasting across business units
3. Prepare monthly performance reports and conduct variance analysis
4. Develop and refine complex financial models for strategic planning
5. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses for new projects
6. Support board and investor reporting with data-driven insights
7. Improve planning tools and reporting procedures

Essential Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent experience
• Proven FP&A experience in high-growth tech or fintech sectors
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modelling skills
• Strong commercial acumen and influencing skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in PE/VC-backed environments
• SaaS, Fintech, or Insurtech experience
