Job summary

Braxfield Recruitment Limited is seeking an Interim Fire Safety Works Manager to lead an in-house fire safety team for a social housing provider in Buckinghamshire. The role covers servicing, FRA remediation and flat entrance doors (FEDs), with a day rate of £550–£600 inside IR35.

The post is a 6+ month contract with hybrid working (2 days in the office per week). You will drive fire safety programmes, oversee both active and passive works, and ensure compliance with current legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a DLO or in-house team, ideally in social housing.
• Experience delivering fire remedial works, active and/or passive.
• Knowledge of Fire Safety regulations in England and Wales.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in-house fire safety team delivering servicing, FRA remediation and FED works.
• Oversee active and passive fire safety, ensuring compliance and resident safety.
• Plan programmes, manage budgets, and report to senior management.
