Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is recruiting an Interim Financial Reporting Manager for a Leicester-based role. You will lead a focused UK reporting function, working with senior stakeholders in the UK and global finance operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with strong technical accounting expertise, outstanding Excel skills, and prior experience in multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience in financial reporting, financial control, or technical accounting.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK financial accounting and reporting function.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Oversee compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
• Partner with senior finance leaders and operational stakeholders to provide financial insight.
• Manage, mentor and develop a finance team.
• Coordinate with shared service and offshore finance teams to drive service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, controls, and reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and manage auditors, tax advisers and regulators.
• Lead preparation of statutory accounts, VAT returns, tax reporting and other regulatory submissions.
• Support working capital initiatives and performance improvement projects.
