The Client

Harmonic Finance is partnering with a leading UK SaaS provider specializing in AI technology. They seek an Interim Financial Controller/Head of Finance for a day-rate interim role, with potential extension or consideration for a permanent position. The company is experiencing rapid growth post-PE backing, expanding across the UK and Europe, offering a chance to build a robust finance foundation.

The company is at the forefront of AI adoption, recognized as an innovator in the space. Located in London, the role requires two days per week in the office, working directly with the CFO and senior leadership.

The Role

Seeking an ACA/ACCA qualified Financial Controller with strong technical skills and efficiency. Key responsibilities include transforming the finance department, improving month-end processes, P&L, Balance Sheet, and automating workflows. Reporting to the CFO, the role involves significant process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting
• Enhance efficiency of finance processes
• Manage daily financial operations
• Support implementation of new finance software
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations
• Collaborate with CFO on ad-hoc projects
• Manage the company's Share Options scheme
• Prepare annual accounts
