Job summary

Keeler Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a 3-month contract. You will lead the finance function, manage month-end close and reporting, and act as a trusted partner to the CFO to drive stability and improvements.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA finance professional with senior level Financial Controller experience, a hands-on, independent mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven Financial Controller experience at senior level.
• Strong leadership with ability to guide finance teams.
• Hands-on and proactive, able to work independently.
• Immediate availability or short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team with guidance and oversight.
• Own month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain robust controls and governance.
• Oversee management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership.
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
