Job summary

Citadel Source is partnering with a growing, investor-backed organisation to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for an initial 6-month FTC. This hands-on finance leader will drive day-to-day performance and lead finance transformation.

The role focuses on strengthening month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, while guiding integration of acquired entities and delivering robust commercial insight to senior leadership. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience as Financial Controller/Head of Finance in SME or mid-market environment.
• Strong accounting knowledge with commercial acumen for strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting, controls and performance management for a significant division.
• Lead month-end, forecasting and budgeting processes with improved reporting quality and controls.
• Provide commercial insight across revenue, margin, cash flow and working capital.
• Support the integration and consolidation of acquired entities with external advisors and stakeholders.
• Drive finance transformation initiatives including automation, systems enhancements and reporting improvements.
• Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership with robust analysis and recommendations.
• Lead and mentor the finance team and contribute to wider business change.
