Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience leading large finance teams.
• Experience with external audits and tax advisors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial control function and reporting across the business.
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and balance sheet control.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes and governance frameworks across the organisation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Work with external tax advisors to ensure compliance across taxes.
• Lead a finance team of ~50 people across multiple disciplines.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide insight and support commercial decisions.
• Identify and deliver process improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Lead finance involvement in a major ERP implementation programme.
• Drive finance process design, data migration, testing and user acceptance.
• Ensure financial controls and reporting requirements are embedded in the new system.
• Collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders to go-live.
• Support change management and user adoption across the wider finance function.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve management information.
