Qualifications

• Expérience dans une entreprise B2B ou dans le secteur logiciel/tech.
• Forte expérience dans des environnements d'entreprises à forte croissance ou à capital-investissement.
• Approche pratique avec expérience dans la gestion d'équipes financières réduites.

Responsibilities

• Diriger et soutenir le déploiement d'un nouveau système ERP.
• Gérer la reconnaissance des revenus et s'assurer de l'exactitude des rapports.
• Surveiller les tâches de contrôleur cyclique, y compris la clôture mensuelle.

Job Description:

Our PE backed software client require an Interim Financial Controller for 6 months initially. Reporting into the CFO and with offices near Birmingham the expectation is that you would spend 3 days on site per week. Overnight expenses can be covered if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the rollout of a new ERP system, embedding best practice processes and improving data integrity and reporting
• Own balance sheet management, ensuring revenue is correctly recognised and reporting is accurate and accessible
• Manage and mentor a small finance team, driving continuous improvement, automation, and greater efficiency
• Oversee cyclical controllership duties, including monthly close, year-end, and audit preparation

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a B2B or software/tech business is advantageous
• Strong background in private equity-backed or fast-growth business environments
• Hands-on approach with experience managing lean finance teams and engaging confidently with senior stakeholders
