Job description

Charity People is working with a NGO with a £10 million turnover to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for a 3-6 month contract based in East London.

The organisation's working week is 4 days, offering a salary of £62,539 for four days.

The successful candidate is expected to start in early June 2025.

Salary:

£62,539 for four days per week

Must-have skills:

• Strong knowledge of Charity SORP and statutory accounts
• Experience leading system upgrades or implementations

Working arrangement:

Hybrid: commuting to East London twice a week

Key responsibilities:

• Completing annual accounts and managing the final stages of the audit process
• Leading the financial system upgrade project, working closely with the Project Manager
• Managing payments, accounts payable, and receivable teams, including a relatively new team member
• Following up on audit findings

This role closes on 4th June 2025.
