Job Description:

Charity People are working with a £10 million turnover NGO to help recruit an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months based in Belfast.

The organisation's working week is 4 days, offering a salary of £62,539 for four days per week.

My client is looking for the right candidate to start early June 2025.

Salary: £62,539 for four days per week

Must be: very strong on Charity SORP and statutory accounts

Led system upgrade or implementation

Hybrid: Going to East London twice a week

Key priorities for this role are:

• Completion of annual accounts and audit (my client is in the final stages of the annual audit)
• Coordinate financial system upgrade (managing and working closely with the Project Manager to lead on the financial system upgrade). The interim Financial Controller will manage the project manager. It is a six-month project just started, and the finance system has already been selected.
• Lead payments, accounts payable, and receivable team. One team member is relatively new.
• Follow up on some audit findings.

This role will close on 4th June 2025.
