Job summary

Consumer Additions has partnered with an international fashion brand to recruit an interim Financial Controller for a six‑month assignment. You will work with the new Finance Director to reshape the finance function for current and future growth.

Responsibilities include strengthening controls, setting up international entities, balance sheet reconciliation, and VAT in-house. Experience in retail and Excel proficiency are essential to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Solid inventory/stock accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel.

• Support the establishment of new international entities.
• Design, implement and maintain balance sheet reconciliation processes.
• Implement automated integrations between Shopify, Business Central and warehouse management systems.
• Bring UK VAT compliance in-house.

Consumer Additions has partnered with a £50m+ turnover international fashion brand to recruit an interim Financial Controller.

This is a 6 month interim assignment to support them with a number of projects. Working with their new high calibre Finance Director, you'll be helping to reshape the finance function to ensure it's well structured to support existing and future growth.

• Review and improve existing financial controls and processes
• Support the establishment of new international entities
• Design, implement and maintain robust balance sheet reconciliation processes
• Implement automated integrations between Shopify, Business Central and warehouse management systems
• Bring UK VAT compliance in-house
• Support wider finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• Retail sector experience is preferred
• Solid inventory/stock accounting experience preferred
