Job Description:

We are currently supporting an organisation in their search for an Interim Financial Controller reporting into the Financial Director.

Ideally, our client is looking for someone to start between mid-June and mid-July, for a 6-month period, whilst recruiting for a permanent role. Applicants open to permanent opportunities may consider applying on a 'temp to perm' basis.

The role is central to the finance function, overseeing 4 direct reports and a team of around 30 across shared services, financial and management accounting, and payroll. Beyond daily responsibilities, there will be significant transformation and process improvement, following a recent finance system implementation.

The successful candidate will:

• Finalize statutory accounts and the annual report
• Restructure the team and review process flows between finance and other departments
• Support strategic programs with increasing financial oversight

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in statutory accounting and finance teams
• Proven ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments
• Experience in the property sector, especially with fixed assets, lease accounting, and large balance sheets
• Fully qualified (CCAB)
