Job description

Axon Moore are supporting a fast-paced organisation based in South Yorkshire in the appointment of an Interim Financial Controller to support them through a period of growth.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial performance and overseeing the accounting operations. This is a hands-on and varied role supporting the finance team and contributing to a number of projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the accounting activities
2. Analysis of financial information including variance analysis and commentary
3. Co-ordinating auditing processes and liaising with external auditors
4. Ensure all reconciliations are completed
5. Review of internal controls
6. Process improvement and driving efficiencies
7. Supporting on a number of projects

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

1. Qualified accountant
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Able to interrogate financial data

This is a 3 - 6 month assignment and offers an immediate start. It offers hybrid working (3 days on site) and is outside IR35.
