Job summary

PHINIA is seeking a Finance Manager to cover maternity leave for 12-14 months, based at our UK site. The role focuses on producing monthly and annual reporting, ensuring compliance with processes and policies, and coordinating both external and internal audits.

You will lead a Finance team (AP/AR/GL), drive accurate reporting to deadlines, manage forecasts, and support the Management Team with financial insights to improve control and working capital.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with relevant experience.
• Experience in forecast modelling and budgeting.
• Exposure to multinational financial reporting.
• Understanding of VAT returns and compliance.
• Ability to manage audits (internal/external).
• Strong controls and process improvement mindset.
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP, AR and GL and deliver all financial elements.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting and input to budget/forecast.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet forecasts with variance analysis.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and respond to data requests.
• Maintain SOX compliance for the site.
• Develop reporting systems to analyse financial performance.
• Improve forecasting processes for income, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Support management with financial guidance and controls.
• Improve working capital cycle for the site.
• Handle approvals and liaise with Krakow GBS.
• Perform other tasks as required.
