Zusammenfassung

Better Placed is partnering with a PE-backed consultancy SME in London to appoint an Interim Finance Manager for a six‑month assignment. You will own the day‑to‑day financial operation, month‑end close and reporting to support growth.

This hybrid role involves balance sheet control, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis and partnering with senior stakeholders, including the FD and board/investors.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified ACCA with strong industry SME experience.
• Proven experience as Finance Manager/Management Accountant/Financial Controller.
• Strong grounding in month-end, management accounts and balance sheet control.

Aufgaben

• Own the month-end close and timely management reporting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and fixed assets.
• Lead monthly management accounts with clear commentary on performance.
• Support budgeting/forecasting and business partnering with budget holders.
• Provide variance analysis and financial insight to FD and leadership.
• Manage cash flow, working capital reporting and board/investor reporting.
