Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an interim Finance Manager to support the finance team across multiple care sites during maternity leave. Reporting to the Managing Director and working with an experienced Financial Controller, you will oversee month-end, budgeting, forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting while collaborating with site administration and senior stakeholders.

The role is a 9-12 month interim with hybrid working and a relaxed, stakeholder-focused

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Finance Manager or Management Accountant position.
• Strong month-end and management accounts expertise.
• Experience using Xero would be highly advantageous.
• Confident producing budgets, forecasts and group reporting packs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operational stakeholders and senior management.
• Knowledge of funding processes within the care sector, including healthcare and local authority funding arrangements, would be beneficial.
• Candidates may be qualified, or qualified by experience.
• A proactive and hands-on approach suited to an SME environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management support across a portfolio of sites.
• Cover management accounting, month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
• Contribute to group-level reporting requirements.
• Partner with site-based administration teams to ensure accurate financial information across locations.
• Oversee income streams and funding mechanisms; knowledge of funding models and local authority funding is advantageous.
