Gill Cooke Personnel Ltd T/A The Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Temporary Finance Manager in Witney to take ownership of the finance function. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead month-end and year-end reporting, manage cash flow and working capital, and provide meaningful financial insight to support commercial decisions.

This hands-on role also covers finance, commercial operations, supplier management and HR activities, with leadership of the finance team and close

Qualifications

• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Proven ability to produce monthly management accounts and year-end reporting.
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with Sage 50.

Responsabilités

• Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports and year-end processes.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support strategy.
• Manage cash flow, credit control, expenditure and working capital.
• Oversee stock valuation, levels and inventory efficiency.
• Handle payroll, VAT returns, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Monitor financial performance, identify variances and implement controls.
• Lead and develop the finance team and processes.
• Support HR activities including recruitment and policy development.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and drive cost efficiencies.
