Job summary

The candidate will lead day-to-day management accounts and provide strategic financial support to the FD and senior leadership.

The position requires a Qualified Accountant with prior Finance Manager or Management Accountant experience. It is a hands-on role in a busy finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with finance management experience.
• Experience at Finance Manager level.
• Strong month-end and management accounts experience.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of month-end and management accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Providing financial analysis and commercial insight.
• Support the production of accurate monthly reporting.
• Monthly VAT returns.
• Support the FD with monthly board packs and ad-hoc projects.
• Assist with ERP system implementation.
• Manage Fixed Asset Register.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and analysis.
