Job summary

Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation within the charitable sector on a 6-month contract.This is a varied role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective financial support to the wider organisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the day-to-day finance function
• Producing accurate management accounts and financial reports
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
• Managing month-end and year-end processes
• Ensuring strong financial controls and compliance
• Supporting senior stakeholders with financial information and insight
• Working closely with external auditors and other professional advisers

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with a srong technical background, multisite experience and the ability to work independently. Experience within the charitable, not-for-profit or public sector would be advantageous, although not essential.
