Page Executive is seeking a commercially focused Finance Director for a growing private logistics and distribution group based in Staffordshire. You will partner with the Managing Director to shape financial strategy, drive performance and build a best-in-class finance function to support ambitious growth beyond £30m turnover.
The ideal candidate is a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with senior finance leadership experience in logistics, transport or warehousing, capable of pricing, profitability
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with senior finance leadership experience.
- Experience as Finance Director or equivalent in logistics/related sectors.
- Strong commercial pricing and profitability analytics.
- Proven ability to transform finance functions and systems.
- Experience managing multiple P&Ls or divisional structures.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Managing Director to provide financial insight and challenge.
- Lead all financial management: reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, compliance.
- Drive planning and analytics for informed decision-making.
- Own commercial performance: pricing, customer profitability, margins.
- Support investments, expansion projects and potential acquisitions.
- Modernise finance systems, BI, and reporting capabilities.
- Implement controls, governance and risk management.
- Develop KPIs and management information to improve performance.
- Lead and develop the finance team and stakeholder relationships.
