Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd invites applications for a hands-on, strategic Finance Director to lead the finance function during a phase of development. You will own the finance function, ensure budgeting, forecasting, reporting, funding, payroll, and tronc compliance, and manage a small team to support growth.

This role focuses on commercial priorities like new site openings, cost control, and operational excellence, with strong emphasis on governance, accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years at senior finance level (Head of Finance/FD).
• Experience leading finance in fast-paced multi-revenue environments (F&B/hospitality preferred).
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and controls.
• Hands-on payroll operations and third-party tronc schemes experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy aligned with growth, new sites, partnerships, and changes.
• Provide financial insight to support decisions across departments.
• Own internal reporting: monthly management accounts, flash reports, reviews.
• Oversee payroll and tronc processes with strong controls and documentation.
• Develop scalable systems, policies, and governance for accuracy.
