Interim Finance Director | AI SaaS Scale-Up | 6-Month Contract

Harmonic is working with an AI/SaaS Scale-Up to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Director for an initial 6-month contract. The company has secured significant funding (~£50m) over the past two years, leading to rapid growth in their finance team.

The Client

The client offers a powerful SaaS product used by large financial institutions. With integrated AI, they've experienced substantial customer growth in the past year. They operate across the UK and US, with most finance staff based in the UK.

The Role

The role involves managing a finance team of four, focusing on automating finance systems and strengthening the FP&A function. The candidate should have diverse skills and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. The contract may lead to a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial modelling and collaborate with product and client engagement teams.
• Oversee accounting functions and implement process improvements.
• Support strategic decision-making with financial insights.
• Lead FP&A, including revenue forecasting.
• Develop and present KPIs to executives.
• Enhance internal controls.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
• Experience leading finance teams.
• Strong FP&A background and commercial acumen.
• Understanding of financial controls and audits.
• Experience in a leadership role within a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder partnership experience.
• Proven track record in improving processes and efficiencies.

Bonus Experience
