Interim Finance Director required for a manufacturing business undergoing a period of change.

As Interim Finance Director, your remit will be to oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function and provide overall financial support during this transition.

Key Responsibilities

1. Working alongside the Executive team to provide financial information
2. Providing financial insights to drive business performance
3. Providing support to the finance team
4. Budgeting and forecasting
5. Review of the MI - ensuring accuracy
6. Ensuring accurate financial reporting
7. Cash flow management
8. Process improvements
9. Office-based role with flexibility to work from home occasionally

Desired Skills & Experience

1. Qualified accountant
2. Proven track record as an Interim Finance Director, ideally with experience in SME manufacturing organisations
3. Able to support the strategy of the business as well as having a hands-on approach
4. Experience of mentoring and developing finance teams (minimum of 6 people)
