Job summary

Aila Recruitment is exclusively supporting a global technology business with an interim Financial Controller role in Cambridge. You will own financial reporting, FP&A, revenue recognition and the year-end audit, ensuring stability during a period of transition.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the finance team, drive budgeting and forecasting, and prepare board packs while maintaining robust controls under deadline pressure.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role.
• Strong track record across financial reporting, revenue recognition and year-end audits.
• Proven ability to lead and steady a finance team under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own the full reporting cycle, including monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and cash flow for the business.
• Own revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and supporting the year-end audit.
