Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant for a 3-month contract in Bristol, with an immediate start and hybrid on-site requirement of 2 days per week.

You will produce monthly management accounts, manage accruals and prepayments, support forecasting and budgeting, carry out financial analysis and reporting, and partner with operational managers to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounting experience.
• Previous finance business partnering exposure.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
• Public sector, healthcare or not-for-profit experience is advantageous but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant to join a busy and collaborative finance function during a critical period, providing support through month-end, forecasting and budget management activities.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts


• Accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations


• Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes


• Financial analysis and reporting


• Partnering with operational managers and budget holders


• Providing financial support throughout a busy month-end cycle

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
