Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the transactional finance team on a temporary basis. You will handle high volumes of purchase invoices, match and code them, and support supplier payment runs in a hybrid office environment.

The role requires experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable, strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups, and excellent attention to detail. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records and generate reports.

Qualifications

• Previous Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, Finance Assistant or Transactional Finance experience.
• Strong understanding of invoice processing and supplier payments.
• Experience working within a fast-paced finance environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of purchase invoices.
• Match, batch and code invoices.
• Manage supplier queries and resolve issues.
• Support supplier payment runs.
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations.
• Investigate account discrepancies.
• Work closely with operational and finance teams.
• Producing reports and analysing data using Excel.
• Providing support across wider transactional finance activities.
