Job summary

Park Avenue Recruitment is supporting a Local Authority in Lincolnshire to appoint an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to provide additional capacity within its Property and Estates team.

The role focuses on a predominantly commercial property portfolio with emphasis on property disposals and asset management, including landlord and tenant matters, valuations and negotiations. Hybrid working with 1–2 days in the office is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive general practice estates surveying experience, ideally in local government.
• Experience in property disposals and commercial asset management.
• Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work independently.
• MRICS qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing and progressing property disposals from appraisal through to completion.
• Identifying surplus assets and supporting the delivery of the disposal programme.
• Preparing disposal recommendations, property reports and supporting documentation.
• Managing landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals and negotiations.
• Supporting the management and optimisation of the Council's commercial property portfolio.
• Undertaking property inspections, valuations and general estates activities.
• Liaising with legal teams, agents, internal stakeholders and external parties to progress transactions.
• Providing professional property advice to support wider estates and asset management objectives.

£450-£500 per day | Hybrid Working

• Location: Lincolnshire
• Contract: 3 month rolling contract
• Rate: £450-£500 per day
• Working Pattern: 1-2 days per week in the office

I'm currently supporting a Local Authority in Lincolnshire looking to appoint an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to provide additional capacity within its Property and Estates team.

This is a varied General Practice position, working across a predominantly commercial property portfolio, with a particular focus on property disposals and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and progressing property disposals, from initial appraisal through to completion.
