Office Angels in Grays, Essex is seeking an experienced HR Advisor/ER Generalist on an interim 3-month contract. You will manage complex Employee Relations casework, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management, and advise managers on employment law and HR policies.

The role requires a hands-on ER specialist who can handle sensitive cases, liaise with Trade Union representatives, and support organisational change while delivering practical, commercially focused guidance.

Formación

• Proven ER experience in HR Advisor/ER Specialist roles.
• Experience in unionised environments.
• Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law.
• Comfortable handling sensitive, high risk ER matters.
• Experience supporting consultations and organisational change.
• Confident communicator who can influence managers.
• Available immediately or on short notice.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a high volume of complex ER cases from investigation to outcome.
• Lead disciplinaries, grievances, long-term absence, performance issues.
• Advise managers on employment law, policies, best practice.
• Conduct investigations and support formal hearings.
• Build relationships with Trade Union representatives.
• Provide guidance on consultation processes.
• Support change programmes and engagement initiatives.
• Coach managers to ensure fair people management.
• Document casework and ensure compliance.
• Produce ER reports and trend analysis.
