Interim Director of Commercial Finance

9 Month FTC

3 Days office based - Central London

A leading multi-site brand requires an Interim Director of Commercial Finance for a 9-month FTC. This role will set the strategic direction of the commercial finance team and partner with the operations director to deliver insights across operations and other departments.

As the Interim Director of Commercial Finance, you will continuously improve reporting, manage and produce investment appraisals for new store openings, partnering with the property director, along with analysis, modelling, and leading the annual strategic planning process. Additionally, you will develop, support, and mentor the commercial finance team.

This role requires a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive commercial finance experience within a multi-site consumer business. You must have a proven track record of leading teams, managing non-finance stakeholders, and be a curious, self-confident communicator who can build strong relationships.
