Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Interim Digital Service Manager to join a forward-thinking digital team in the United Kingdom. This full-time role requires strong digital service management skills and the ability to manage suppliers effectively. The ideal candidate will have a degree in IT or business, solid communication and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with tools like TOPdesk and JIRA. Join a proactive team to drive improvement in digital services through this interim position until March 2026.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong Digital Service Management experience.
  • Degree in IT/Business or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required.
  • Understanding of software development/testing methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience in managing Contracts & SLAs is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, managing, and scheduling changes with teams.
  • Handle programming requests for changes using the ITSM tool.
  • Develop and update processes and procedures.
  • Work with the Service Desk to ensure digital services operate at expected levels.
  • Support knowledge transfer to the Service Coordinator.

Skills

Strong Digital Service Management experience
Great communicator
Solid problem-solving skills
Understanding of software development / testing (Scrum)
Experience managing Contracts & SLAs

Education

Degree in IT / Business or suitably qualified by experience
ITIL Foundation
ITIL Lifecycle course / ITIL Expert
PRINCE2 or project experience
