• Senior leadership experience in enterprise data governance, data protection and data strategy.
• Experience in large, complex organisations.
• Strong communication with senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise data strategy and roadmaps aligned with outcomes.
• Lead and improve enterprise data governance framework and ownership.
• Embed privacy by design across programmes, products and AI initiatives.
• Establish department‑wide operating model for data governance.
• Advise executives on complex data governance matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑government partners to enable compliant data sharing.
