Job summary

Simmons Adaptive is seeking a qualified lawyer to support a core banking client at Simmons & Simmons on a six‑month, full‑time assignment. Applicants should have 4+ years PQE with strong transactional credit or lending experience, including real estate finance, private banking, and secured lending.

Job description

Main purpose of the role:

Simmons Adaptive are keen to hear from credit lawyers who are interested in supporting a core banking client at Simmons & Simmons.

This is expected to be a full-time role for 6 months.

Person specification:

• You are a qualified lawyer with 4 + years PQE.
• You have strong transactional credit or lending experience gained in private practice or in-house.
• You have experience advising on a broad range of credit and lending matters.
• You have experience in real estate finance, private banking, property backed lending, wealth management lending, Lombard lending or broader secured lending.
• You are comfortable managing matters with a degree of autonomy and limited supervision.
• You are a problem solver and offer a collaborative approach.
• You are able to work quickly and effectively to tight deadlines.
• You have excellent organisation skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads.
• You will be required to hold he relevant right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
