Job summary

Lawyers On Demand is assisting a leading financial services client in Slough. They seek an experienced credit lawyer to support the retail wealth and private banking lending team on a 6-month interim basis, with immediate start.

The role focuses on credit facilities, lending documents, and lifecycle management of facilities. The successful candidate will have 3-4 years PQE in credit and lending, with autonomy to handle a busy environment and minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' PQE in credit and lending transactions.
• Experience in Lombard lending and facility documentation.
• Banking or financial services environment experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the credit business on a wide range of lending and transactional matters.
• Advise on Lombard lending and the associated facility documentation.
• Manage the set-up of facilities and supporting the full lifecycle of lending arrangements.
• Review and advise on requests for consents, amendments, and waivers.
• Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and new products.
• Instruct and manage external counsel where required.
