Sellick Partnership are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join a local authority finance team on an interim basis in Warwickshire. This hands-on role demands a fully qualified accountant with recent local authority experience and broad corporate finance knowledge.

The post involves production of statutory accounts, VAT, treasury management, and reporting, with on-site work four days a week initially, then reducing to 2–3 days as needed.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with strong local authority experience.
• Hands-on approach across multiple corporate finance areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the council's core corporate finance function, including Statement of Accounts and external audit support.
• Manage VAT, CIS, Fixed Assets, WGA, Delta returns and related reporting.
• Support treasury management, banking, cash flow and financial control, plus Accounts Payable.
• Own wider corporate finance issues to keep the function operating effectively.
