This role focuses on developing and executing the consumer PR strategy for international campaigns as well as managing PR agencies globally. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract and offers a salary of up to £60K pro-rata.

It attracts high-spending international customers and partners with almost 500 global tourism-related businesses such as airlines, hotels, car rental, and tourism organizations. This retailer provides a unique platform for customers worldwide to enjoy shopping. The London-based PR team is driven and highly organized. The successful candidate will:

1. Develop and execute international consumer PR campaigns (reporting to the group PR Director)
2. Manage and oversee agencies across global markets in China, Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia
3. Engage with, liaise, and advise regional PR managers across international locations
4. Travel at least once a quarter to various target markets
5. Organize and lead international press trips and tours
6. Represent the brand and act as the face of the business on a global level

Requirements:

• Solid consumer PR experience at the Account Director or PR Manager level, working strategically on campaigns
• Experience in both in-house and agency environments is important; global PR experience is a bonus
• Ideally a consumer PR generalist with experience in retail, fashion, homeware, or travel/leisure
• Enjoy working in an independent and self-motivated environment
• Preferably have experience managing PR agencies
• Interest in current and global affairs, with a keen interest in different markets and trends
• Entrepreneurial, self-disciplined, solution-focused, and likely to be a process-driven, structured, and flexible individual
