Job summary

Oakleaf Partnership is seeking an experienced Head of Talent on an interim basis to shape and deliver a group-wide talent strategy, ensuring a strong leadership pipeline and critical capability across the business. You will work with Executive and Board-level leaders to strengthen succession planning, executive resourcing and leadership development.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with track record in large, complex organisations.
• Experience across succession planning, executive resourcing, performance and talent management, leadership development and assessment.
• Ability to connect talent strategy to wider commercial objectives.
• Credible with Executive and Board-level stakeholders; strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Comfortable using data, analytics and digital tools to provide evidence-based insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a progressive, group-wide talent strategy aligned to business objectives and future capability requirements.
• Lead succession planning across executive and critical roles, identifying talent risks and building robust pipelines.
• Oversee executive recruitment and resourcing, including relationships with external search partners and the wider leadership market.
• Drive internal mobility and career progression for senior leaders.
• Develop and embed leadership assessment frameworks to identify potential and readiness for progression.
• Partner with L&D to strengthen leadership capability and create a culture of continuous development.
• Work closely with the DE&I team to improve representation and diversity at senior levels.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Executive and Board-level stakeholders on talent, succession and leadership matters.
• Providing data-led talent insights, metrics and recommendations to senior governance forums.
• Managing budgets and resources across talent and executive resourcing.
