Job summary

Consult is seeking an Interim Fractional CISO to act as a strategic partner to the CIO, guiding cyber security priorities at the executive level. You will design and embed a new operating model, cover governance and capabilities, and drive risk remediation with measurable progress.

You will mentor internal staff to build a sustainable security leadership function across a major FMCG, multi-market supply chain, and OT/IT environment.

Qualifications

• Senior CISO with extensive leadership experience in global FMCG.

Job description

Interim Fractional CISO (3 days per week for 6 months)

Our client seeks to contract a senior CISO for a hands-on assignment with a major international FMCG business.

• Strategic partner to the CIO: You'll act as the CIO's trusted security adviser and sit on the IT leadership team, shaping priorities and decisions at the most senior level.

• Target Operating Model design: You'll define and embed a new cyber security operating model, covering structure, governance, capabilities and ways of working.

• Risk and control remediation: You'll take ownership of several key security risks and control gaps, and drive them to resolution with clear plans, accountability and measurable progress.

• Coaching and capability building: You'll mentor and develop internal talent to step into the permanent security leadership role, leaving a sustainable function behind.

• International FMCG experience essential: You'll have a proven track record as a CISO or senior security leader in global FMCG or consumer goods. You'll also bring strong knowledge of complex, multi-market supply chain and OT/IT environments.

The role will pay up to £1,200 per day based on experience.
