Job summary

North Wales Wildlife Trust is seeking an experienced interim Director of Finance and Business Support to lead our finance, administration, IT and facilities functions from the Bangor area with hybrid working.

Reporting to the CEO and Trustees, you will strengthen financial planning, controls and long-term sustainability while guiding organisational systems and growth during a fixed-term 6-month appointment with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent).
• Substantial senior finance leadership experience in charity/public/environmental sectors.
• Ability to provide strategic financial insight and challenge.
• Experience with organisational change and systems improvement.
• Comfort working with Trustees, Committees and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
