Job summary

New Way Recruitment LTD is seeking an Interim Care Consultant to work across a portfolio of adult social care services nationwide. You will support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and service improvement by partnering with senior leadership, registered managers and frontline teams.

This role requires regular national travel and overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is preferred; you will build strong relationships with commissioners and professionals across the sector.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in the adult social care sector.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, quality frameworks and compliance.
• Experience leading service improvements or turnaround projects.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement.
• Skilled at analyzing performance data and implementing actions.
• Willingness to travel nationally with overnight stays; driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide interim operational support across residential, nursing, supported living and specialist care services.
• Lead service improvement initiatives to enhance quality and compliance.
• Conduct audits, quality assurance reviews and compliance assessments.
• Support services preparing for regulatory inspections and action plans.
• Mentor Registered Managers and senior leadership teams.
• Produce detailed reports and improvement plans for senior leadership.
• Travel extensively across the UK with overnight stays.
