Job Opportunity - Interim Capital Accountant - Predominantly Remote - 3 Month Rolling Contract

Job Role: Interim Capital Accountant

Contract Duration: 3 Months rolling.

Rate: DOE

IR35: Inside IR35.

Hybrid: Predominantly remote (over 12 months will only be needed in office a handful amount of times).

Days: Preference is full time hours but also happy to consider part time.

Start Date: November.

A local authority client of mine are currently in the market on the lookout for an Interim Capital Accountant to join their team on a 3 month rolling contract.

Main duties:

• This is a purely hands on position, there will be no staff management responsibilities.
• Likewise the council already have a permanent Capital Accountant who you will be working closely with.
• Technical Capital Accounting, fixed asset register, capital closedown etc.
• Capital finance business partnering, budgeting, monitoring etc.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have experience on both sides of capital: technical and finance business partnering.
• Must have specific capital accounting experience within a local authority setting.
• There will be an expectancy to be able to hit the ground running with your capital accounting expertise.
