Job summary

United Living Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Interface Manager to coordinate programme-critical interfaces across access, GI, PRI and construction delivery. You will own dependencies, resolve constraints and ensure work packages are fully aligned from planning through to construction.

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience coordinating interfaces on major infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering projects.
  • Experience working with clients, contractors, designers, statutory authorities and third parties; governance and change control.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan and Interface Register.
  • Lead interface meetings, driving actions through to resolution and removing programme blockers.
  • Define package boundaries, responsibilities, dependencies and handover arrangements.
  • Coordinate construction readiness across access, land, environmental, design, logistics, permitting and construction teams.
  • Produce regular reports highlighting interface risks, key decisions, upcoming milestones and programme constraints.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve interface management processes across future project phases.

Your focus will be on identifying dependencies, resolving constraints and ensuring work packages are fully coordinated from planning through to construction.You'll act as the central point of coordination, ensuring programme risks are identified early, responsibilities are clearly defined and stakeholders remain aligned throughout the project lifecycle.## What You'll Be Doing* Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan and Interface Register.* Lead interface meetings, driving actions through to resolution and removing programme blockers.* Define package boundaries, responsibilities, dependencies and handover arrangements.* Coordinate construction readiness across access, land, environmental, design, logistics, permitting and construction teams.* Ensure approvals, consents and statutory submissions are reflected within programme milestones.* Manage interfaces between United Living Infrastructure, clients, designers, subcontractors, statutory authorities and other delivery partners.* Monitor interface risks, assumptions, decisions and changes, ensuring they are effectively managed.* Escalate issues with clear recommendations and practical mitigation plans.* Coordinate shared work areas, construction sequencing and cross-package activities.* Produce regular reports highlighting interface risks, key decisions, upcoming milestones and programme constraints.* Capture lessons learned and continuously improve interface management processes across future project phases.## About YouYou'll be an organised and proactive professional with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on large infrastructure projects.
