Eisai EMEA is seeking an Intercompany Accountant for a fixed-term maternity cover in Hatfield. You will ensure accurate intercompany transactions across EMEA entities and support the Financial Accounting team.

The role suits candidates with CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualifications and SAP experience, who can work independently or with teams to meet deadlines in a hybrid setup.

• Reconcile intercompany control accounts.

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Intercompany Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team in Hatfield on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. You’ll play an important part in ensuring intercompany transactions across our EMEA legal entities are accurately reported and reconciled, while providing wider support to the Financial Accounting team.

What you’ll be doing

• Reconciling intercompany control accounts
• Working with local and overseas finance teams to agree intercompany balances
• Producing global intercompany matching confirmation reports
• Recording transactions through the group’s Global Intercompany System
• Supporting month-end accruals and journal posting
• Managing intercompany invoices, eliminations and recharges across EMEA
• Supporting intercompany foreign exchange and the SAP revaluation process
• Working with Treasury on settlement through the group netting system
• Supporting statutory consolidation and internal and external audit activity
• Helping colleagues across EMEA resolve intercompany queries

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who is CIMA or ACCA qualified, AAT qualified or equivalent, with accounting experience and a good understanding of intercompany processes and accounting principles. Previous SAP experience is also required.
