Job summary

St Martins Housing Trust in the Great Yarmouth area is seeking an Intensive Recovery Worker to provide recovery-focused, psychological support to individuals with mental health and complex needs. The role involves local travel and occasional wider Norfolk coverage, with a driving requirement.

We offer flexibility in day/evening duties, weekends and sleep-ins. Salary ranges from £28,153 to £30,023 per annum, with a comprehensive benefits package and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health issues
• Ability to develop and use skills to support service users
• Resilience and tenacity to push ahead in challenging situations
• Willingness to work flexible day/evening hours, weekends and sleep-ins
• Experience with clients who have addictions or are ex-offenders

Responsibilities

• Provide psychologically informed, recovery-focused support to people with mental health and complex needs.
• Travel locally and, where needed, across Norfolk; driving is essential.
• Engage with housing, criminal justice, social care and housing services to support clients.
