Job summary

Together for Mental Wellbeing is seeking a Mental Health Recovery Worker to support individuals in the Great Yarmouth area, helping them build confidence, independence and a sense of purpose within their local community.

You will provide practical and emotional support, using a strengths-based approach to help people move forward in their recovery journey and access education, employment, volunteering and community opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in mental health, social care or community support is advantageous.
• Ability to develop trusting, person-centred relationships.
• Willingness to engage with education, employment, volunteering and community opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support tailored to individual goals.
• Build positive relationships to promote trust and engagement.
• Support independence and wellbeing through practical help.
• Access education, employment, volunteering and community opportunities.
• Assist with living skills and self-confidence; review recovery and safety plans.
• Maintain accurate records and liaise with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Promote choice, dignity and independence in all support aspects.
