Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Intelligent Devices Domain Expert to support the UK & Ireland sales teams, acting as the technical product expert for ICT and Motion portfolios. The role covers presales technical support, demonstrations, and ensuring customer success across the region in a hybrid UK work setting.

You will collaborate with account managers, distributors, and systems integrators, travel up to 70% of the time, and report to the Manager ITD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Ability to travel in the UK & Ireland (up to 70%).
• Valid UK driver's licence.
• Customer-centric approach with focus on delivering value.
• 4–5 years' sales experience in a technology-based organisation.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical product expert and focal point in UK & Ireland for ICT and Motion portfolio.
• Collaborate with the sales team to promote products via presentations, demos, and proofs of concepts.
• Analyse competitors and define differentiators.
• Participate in trade shows and marketing activities with product expertise.
• Support market access with distributors and system integrators.
• Assist Business Lead in launching new products to sales and channel.
• Validate product compatibility within architectural solutions and advise customers and sales teams.
• Keep customers informed about new products and technology relevant to their needs.
