Job summary

px Group seeks an Integrity Engineer to manage the asset integrity programme at Saltend Chemicals Park. You will own corrosion and integrity activities, develop work scopes, and coordinate with the maintenance team and competent bodies to keep plant safety and reliability at the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND (degree preferred) in a relevant Engineering discipline or demonstrable experience.
• Experience in energy, oil, gas, petrochemical or chemical industry in corrosion/integrity management related to pressure systems.
• Strong understanding of corrosion mechanisms and degradation mitigation.
• Knowledge of PSSR, COMAH, PUWER and API/ASME/EI/HOIS/DNV standards.
• Understanding of Risk Based Inspection and Written Scheme of Examination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the SCP Asset Integrity programme following industry best-practice recommendations.
• Support planning/management of day-to-day/long-term Asset Integrity issues.
• Interface between the SCP Maintenance Team and site inspection team / Competent body.
• Develop work scopes for integrity work orders with photographs, steps, resources and permits.
• Drive efficient performance of the site inspection team / Competent body.
• Develop and maintain the site CMMS and risk register for long-term asset replacement.
• Participate in annual integrity internal audit programme and verification audits.
• Ensure all asset integrity work is completed to programme safely and efficiently.
